My public sector client in London are looking for a MIS Analyst and developer with substantial experience of using a reporting tool (e.g. Access, Business Objects, etc.), and a good understanding of the issues involved in using such a tool to produce relevant and useful operational and management information. Typical tasks will include the analysis of information requirements, working with external suppliers. Over time it is expected that this will change to: Creating new reports to satisfy ongoing needs, developing and publishing complex amendments to reports that will be used to provide regular operational or management information, User Acceptance Testing, through to documentation & end user support. Other duties will include understanding of the various corporate data systems and a thorough understanding of the technical reporting architecture and the capabilities of the tool sets selected, and Creating and enhancing the data sets made available to the user groups, including Business Objects Universes To apply you must have a good working knowledge of business objects, and preferably have some exposure to Oracle.
